FRIEND OF WRESTLING
The wrestling team gives the
“Friend of Wrestling” Award annually to supporters of wrestling in our community
and school.
This year’s “Friend of Wrestling” is Jay Mennis.
Jay has done a tremendous job in reorganizing our youth wrestling program.
Jay has put in a lot of energy in making our youth
program a program that the kids can take pride in and has truly helped build a
team atmosphere for our future bulldogs.
Every
strong varsity program has a quality youth program run by loyal volunteers and
Jay has played a big part in keeping our program flourishing at the lower level.
Our youth numbers are continuing to grow and the
development of “The Tough Guy Triangular” has created a sense of team within our
younger kids.
We all know that the continuing success of our youth
program will definitely have great effects on the varsity in the years to come
and that it takes a lot of effort of a lot of people to make it happen.
Our coaching staff is excited about utilizing the
“fruits of labor” that has been nourished within our youth program,
I would like to personally thank Jay for his
unselfish work help build a quality program that we can all be proud of.
Jay has been a huge supporter of Bulldog Wrestling
and we are glad to have him as part of our family.
The Madison Bulldog Wrestling
Team would like to thank Jay for his outstanding support of Bulldog Wrestling.
We look forward to his continued support of our
team. Thanks again Jay!
